Obama Hand Salute - The latest in the cult of personality?

In the continued story of how Obama is able (and wants to) run a campaign on style over substance comes a handy err hand salute. Since it is so difficult to wear Obama shirts, buttons and hats all the time an Obama fan going by the name Husong has created a hand salute let let other people know you support Barack Obama.

So this does not appear to be from the official Obama campaign. That is good. The last few uses of imagery to connect with people have been a little scary to say the least. The presidential seal looking logo also was possibly illegal.

After exhaustive research it seems that even before Barack Obama won any political office he had fans that wanted to convey the greatness that is Barack. Behold the first people aliens that wanted “Change”:
