H.R.6304 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 Amendments Act of 2008

This bill is an unbelievable crime against Americans to protect the Telecommunications companies that have been breaking the law. This will retroactively protect Phone and Cellular companies from being sued by citizens and states trying to protect their rights.It is basically an “Ex Post Facto” law as that it goes back in time in its immunity. Wikipedia has amassed a common ground of knowledge on many issues and has stated:

“Generally speaking, ex post facto penal laws are seen as a violation of the rule of law as it applies in a free and democratic society.”

If America and more specifically the US Senators realize this is a slippery slope, we will continue to see the Corporate LawBreakers continue to help the government take your freedoms and then protect the companies that do so.
