Mainstream Media bias pushes the Iranian Whitehouse story

Today we will review screenshots I took from the various news outlets websites. These were all taken in one day. July 9th, 2008. What exactly are they pushing? What do they want you to think from their choice of words?

Yahoo Pushes Iran Fear

Yahoo has the untold “story of the day” which seems to be Iran and their missle test. The United States has missle tests, tank tests, cannon tests, aircraft carrier tests every day. Yet that is not published. One country having a test on their own land that does not leave their boundaries and it makes the Yahoo front page.

MSN talks about the Iran Missles Test

MSN has the story too. Their score : 3 mentions of the word “Iran” involving the idea that “war hero” McCain sees the tests as disturbing and the end of the page implies that the high oil price is because of Iran although they have not recently sold us oil.

CNN pushes the Whitehouse story too

CNN has this story too. Twice mentioning Iran missles with both a story and video. Also the attack on a USA embassy in Turkey has also been linked to the word terrorism without any concern or proof of who did it.

CBS does their mainstream media part

CBS is the more restrained of the whole group. And that is not saying much. Every media website page I checked that morning had the Iranian story with additional stories to invoke fear.

Fox News shows their media bias once again

And you just knew I had to save the Fox News homepage for last didn’t you? They have the lead story as - Iran always has their hands on the trigger. But if you were the Iranian leaders wouldn’t you say that too? They are doing everything they can to not get invaded illegally. The Fox News official score on this day: They use the words “Iranian missle” THREE times with the words right next to each other if you are too dense to understand a whole sentence. Then they state that the missles can reach Israel, just like the 300 nuclear weapons that Israel has now can reach Iran or other spots in the Middle East.

And the other main stories on Fox that day are about dead young girls. Truly they have the lost any semblence of true news or respect for life. They use war and dead girls to boost their views, instill fear in their viewers, and to creat an unthinking public that will do whatver is necessary from an “enemy” that could not attack the USA if we gave them an invitation.

And in case you dont care about Israel there is a story using the words “Jewish martyr” and “Jesus” reminding of another famous Jewish person.

Do you think I think these homepages are too much? Is this a coincidence?
