Ron Paul Presidential Run for 2012 or LA Times Media Bias?
Ok the elections are over. I didnt blog too much. There really was not much to say. And even less good candidates to vote for.
Six months ago I stated that McCain was going to lose and lose badly.
We all hope Obama at least tries to live up to the expectations that people have placed on him. So do I. He has repeatedly stated that he will close the Cuban torture prisons. It’s amazing how little good you have to do when you follow President Bush.
But once again the media shows bias when they talk about a possible run for the White House by Ron Paul. And the media takes some talk about possibilites for running from a staffer as meaning that Ron Paul has entered the race for 2012.
Here are some of the highlights from the LA Times Andrew Malcolm:
“And anyway by then, at age 77 Paul will be the second oldest guy to launch a losing presidential campaign, behind only Ralph.”
He used the words “will” meaning a definite future event and “losing” implying there is no way way he would win. That might actually be true with the media bias the media puts into anything outside of the norm lately. But he or any member of his staff have not said that he will run.
But personally I don’t think Ron Paul is that likely to even run. Maybe I put it at 50 - 50.
Here is the media bias picture he used:
Ron Paul in One Chair - Media Bias?
The filename of the picture is ronpaulcrowd.jpg. Is he trying to get high rankings for “Ron Paul Crowd”? And that picture is old. Certainly not recent news.
The original story used this more recent and fair picture of Ron Paul:
Ron Paul 2012 Run?
And just to see the bias that the LA Times is bringing to this story you should look at the above LA Times story then the original Reason Magazine article about a POSSIBLE run for President by Ron Paul for 2012.
And in case you want to see what a “Ron Paul Crowd” picture really looks like here is an example:
